Mr. SHASHI KIRAN SHETTY

Mr.
Shashi Kiran Shetty, the promoter of the
Company, holds a Bachelor of Commerce
degree. He started his career in the
logistics industry in 1978 with Intermodal
Transport and Trading Systems Private
Limited, Mumbai from where he moved to
Forbes Gokak, a TATA Group Company.
In 1982 he set up TransIndia Freight
Services to cater to liner shipping
services. The company obtained its Private
Limited status in 1995 and was appointed as
general agent in India for ASIA Lines Ltd.,
a Mauritius based NVOCC. Mr. Shetty joined
hands with ECU Line N.V. in 1995 and set up
the CFS division in 2003.
He has served as ex-trustee of Mumbai Port
Trust and as the Vice-Chairman of the
Association of Multimodal Transport
Operators of India (AMTOI). Mr. Shetty has
been appointed as the Chairman & Managing
Director since the inception of the Company. |
MRS. ARATHI SHETTY

Mrs. Arathi Shetty, holds a Bachelor of Arts
degree and is associated with the group
since 1988. She has a vast experience of
over nineteen years in the business and has
an understanding of the intricacies of
logistics business. Mrs. Shetty handles
customer relations and related issues which
are of paramount importance in the service
industry. She actively participates and
contributes to various policy decisions at
Board Meetings of the Company and other
forums.

Mr. ADARSH
HEGDE

Mr. Adarsh Hegde, holds a Mechanical
Engineering degree. Post graduation, he
started his carrier as Assistant Maintenance
Engineer with Eastern Ceramics Pvt. Ltd.,
Mr. Hegde joined Allcargo in 1987-88 and
since then has won many admirers both within
and outside the organization. His business
acumen, clarity in thinking, methodical
working and modern management expertise
makes him an ideal business leader.

Mr. KAIWAN
KALYANIWALLA

Mr. Kaiwan Kalyaniwalla, is a Solicitor and
Advocate of the Bombay High Court and a
Partner of the law firm of Maneksha & Sethna
in Mumbai for over 20 years.
Mr. Kalyaniwalla is enrolled as a Solicitor
of the Supreme Court of England and Wales.
He is on the board of various Indian and
foreign companies and advises private sector
companies, multinational banks, transport
and logistics companies and some of India’s
largest property development companies and
business houses. His practice is
predominantly in the field of corporate
laws, property laws, tax laws and general
commercial laws. Mr. Kalyaniwalla has been
an active member of the Managing Committee
of the Bombay Incorporated Law Society. |
Mr. KEKI
ELAVIA

Mr. Keki Elavia, is a Chartered Accountant
by profession with 36 years of post
qualification experience with M/s.
Kalyaniwalla & Mistry, a Chartered
Accountancy firm. He joined the firm as an
employee in 1971 and became a partner in
1974. He retired from the firm from April 1,
2009. Mr. Elavia has expertise in
accounting, audit, finance and taxation
matters. |
Mr. SATISH
GUPTA

Mr. Satish Gupta, is a Science Graduate and
is a partner in M/s. Agra Engineering
Company. He joined the business when Agra
Engineering was a player in the domestic
market. With the joint efforts of the
partners, Mr. Gupta was instrumental in
taking the business from the domestic market
to international market by making it a
hundred percent export oriented firm. His
firm is currently one of the leading
exporters of engine parts. Mr. Gupta has
overall 31 years of rich experience in
Engineering.

Mr. RAJIV
SAHNEY

Mr. Rajiv Sahney, is the founder and
Managing Partner of N V Advisory Services, a
firm providing financial advisory services
and investing advice to New Vernon Capital
among others. He is also Chairman of the
Board and founder of Medusind Solutions, a
business process outsourcing company serving
the US healthcare market. Prior to Medusind,
he was the Managing Director of Antfactory
(India), which invested in various early
stage companies. Before that he was the CEO
of the Sahney Group of Companies, a Rs.1
billion family-owned group which
manufactures electrical engineering
components and is also involved in real
estate and investing. He started his career
as a Consultant with Bain & Company, after
completing his MBA from IMEDE, Switzerland
and BS (Physics) from California Institute
of Technology, USA.
Mr. Sahney is a member of the Young
Presidents Organization, Bombay Chapter
since 1999. He is currently the South-Asia
Regional Chairman since June 2008. |
MR. AKHILESH
GUPTA

Mr. Akhilesh Gupta is a Senior Managing
Director of The Blackstone Group and
Chairman of Blackstone India based in
Mumbai.
Mr.Gupta has been sourcing and managing
private equity transactions in India, and
has made eight investments/commitments in
India. In addition, he provides support for
Blackstone’s other businesses, including
real estate and corporate advisory services.
Before joining Blackstone, Mr.Gupta served
as CEO-Corporate Development for Reliance
Industries Limited and Reliance Infocomm
Limited. |

Mr. Gupta began his career at Hindustan
Lever. From 1981 to 1992 he worked in the
U.S, first in consulting with Strategic
Planning Associates and ICF in Washington
D.C., then as Senior Vice President and
Chief Financial Officer of Krauses Sofa (an
integrated retailer and manufacturer of
furniture), and after that as Chief
Financial Officer and Chief Operating
Officer of Stylus Inc. (another integrated
retailer and manufacturer of furniture).
Mr. Gupta received his B. Tech degree in
Chemical Engineering with distinction from
the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi,
in 1973 and an MBA degree from the Graduate
School of Business, Stanford University, in
1981.
